emilie taylor, is a native of lafayette, louisiana and a recent graduate of the tulane school of architecture. her interest in local revitalization and the integration of design practice with construction methods affords her unique opportunities in new orleans. currently, emilie is an assistant instructor with the tulane’s URBANbuild.designBUILD program, where she works closely with byron on scheduling and management of these student-designed/built housing projects. she also assists with tulane’s city center in its efforts to help guide the city’s redevelopment. furthermore, emilie extends her adept skills to the bild studio, where she is a valuable part of the team, assisting on every aspect of projects from meeting clients and concept development through construction administration.
